How I work

The most important thing for me is for you to achieve the goals you set for the therapy! And to ensure I’m doing my job as well as possible, I use a feedback system, FIT-Outcomes, where I can monitor your progress, at the start of the session, and my own performance, at the end.

Research has proven that psychotherapy is effective and helps people find solutions for their problems. The positive effects will be even stronger if you let me know what the therapy experience is like for you.

Getting started

At the first session we will talk about your reasons for seeing me and then agree on how the therapy will work and on our therapeutic aims. We may need more than one session to finalize the therapy contract, which is a key component of the therapy.

How long will it take?

We will agree on the duration of the therapy. Although short term therapy can offer relief in specific situations, medium and long term therapy hold out a better chance of significant change: if we believe that the therapy is based on the therapeutic relationship, more time will allow us to look deeper into who we are and how we live.

Your sessions

Most clients have one 50-minute session a week. In exceptional cases, different arrangements can be made.
